Émotion se dit kanjō en japonais, les dessins de Maiko deviennent des Emo-jō pour le lecteur le connectant à ses émotions, à son coeur, à son énergie vitale.

The book Emo-jō invites the reader to follow the artist, Maiko Kobayashi, step by step in her creative process. From drawings on cut-out newspapers emerge a strange creature that will be the receptacle of the emotions of the artist expressed during the creative process.
Emotion is said to be kanjō in Japanese. Maiko’s drawings become Emo-jō for the reader connecting him to his emotions, to his heart, to his vital energy.
